Management of Agents

ALBM has a very comprehensive system for managing, its student recruitment agents. As part of this system, we have the following;

Agencies contracts signed and reviewed annually
Agency training in courses, course fees, and refund policies
Agency Update list to keep all agents updated on changes
Agency Code of Conduct outlining ethical practices to ensure students are not misled and not coerced into enrolling into courses which are not appropriate for students. All potential students will given the latitude to choose a course of their liking in line with their academic abilities, English Language proficiency and their inclination towards their a career,

The training provided to agents shall be comprehensive, covering the following areas.

10. Accommodation and living expenses in Singapore
11. Certification awarded at the end of the course
12. Course intakes, commencement and end dates
13. Educational pathway and opportunities for job after graduation in Singapore and overseas
14. Payment methods, schedule and refund policy
15. Standard Student Contract
16. Mandatory medical insurance with HSBC insurance
17. Transfer and withdrawal policies
18. Course duration, credit exemption and assessment methods
19. Issuance of certificate
20. Attendance and official leave of absence from school
21. Student support services and Stamford Learning Centre's organisational structure
22. All relevant statutory bodies rules and regulation in Singapore via
-Ministry of Manpower (MOM)
-Immigration and Checkpoint Authority (ICA)
